New England Roundtable on LGBT Treatment and Recovery Services

I am pleased to announce that I have been invited to sit on the New England Roundtable on LGBT Treatment and Recovery Services Sponsored by the Addiction Technology Transfer Center of New England. In order to assess the current conditions regarding mental health and addiction recovery within the LGBT community in New England, the HHS Region I SAMHSA Administrator and the New England ATTC will host a regional roundtable discussion.  This will be a gathering of about 25 professionals from various treatment milieu, policymakers, LGBT service providers and recovery specialists.  We see this as the first step in a long term process to improve the breadth and quality of services to sexual minorities in New England.
